These! Probably best as stocking stuffers or secret santa. They are cheap and don’t look it. I heard about them here bought some and they were a big hit.

They have a great holiday special going on. I just bought a bunch.

i recently made a bookmark using cross stitching against a beautiful brass frame. cost for me: $3.00 (clearance sale at the craft store)
also, Knifty Knitter… the easiest way in the world to make hats and scarf sets. once you learn how to start and finish the items, the rest is cake… a hat and scarf, made of the plushest, most fluffy warm yarn i can find… set will cost me about $20. and that’s me trying to break the bank.
Not a homebody type person to stitch or knit? try books on subjects the person is interested in, alot of which can be found at thrift stores. (also would be amazed as the deals on antiques and bricabrac you can find there) OR…. photo collage of pictures of you and the other person. something personal.
